There are two separate services that you need for a working website - a domain name and a website hosting plan for it. Whenever you type the domain name in your web browser, you see the content that’s uploaded within the hosting account, but if that domain is not linked to such an account or to an email service, it is parked. Put simply, the domain address is registered and you are its owner, but it lacks content of its own. Instead, it can open either a pre-made “Under Construction / For Sale” webpage from the registrar company, or it can be directed to any other URL of your choice. The benefit of parking a domain name is that you can keep it and be sure that no one else will take it. Meanwhile, it will not block a slot for a hosted domain in your account. You could also park domains if you have a .com, for instance, and you register domains with other extensions like .net, .org or country-code ones to direct them to the main web site so as to protect a brand name.

Parked Domains in Cloud Web Hosting

You're going to be able to park as many domains as you wish with any of the cloud web hosting plans that we provide. However, this feature is offered only for domain names registered here because the service is always provided only by the registrar. As opposed to many companies, we do not charge anything additional for parking a domain and the process takes just a few mouse clicks in your Hepsia Control Panel. We've got a few parking templates to pick from where you can include custom text. If you want to host a parked domain in the future, adding it to your account requires simply a mouse click. Everything necessary for your website to start showing up, such as setting up a domain folder and creating DNS records is going to be done automatically by us. The feature-rich Domain Manager tool will enable you to view a full list of the domain addresses that you have registered through us and you’ll be able to set a filter to view only the parked or just the hosted ones.

Parked Domains in Semi-dedicated Servers

Our semi-dedicated plans don't have a limit for the amount of domain names you can park. This option is offered for domain addresses that are registered with our company and not ones that are only hosted, because the service is always provided only by the registrar. Parking any one of your domains is really simple and takes a couple of mouse clicks with the feature-rich Domain Manager instrument, which you will be able to access via your Hepsia hosting Control Panel. You're going to have a number of parking templates to select from and you can add custom text to any of them - Under Construction, For Sale, Parked Domain, etcetera. Un-parking a domain is just as easy and what is more, our system is going to set up all the necessary records and it'll create a folder in the File Manager section automatically, so you will not have to do anything manually.
